12. Data Processing Agreement
Where required under applicable data protection law, the processing of personal data by Kiito on behalf of the customer may be governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) or equivalent data processing terms.
If a DPA is required for your use of Kiito, please contact us at support@kiito.io.
If no separate DPA has been signed, these Terms and the Privacy Policy apply to the use of the service, without limiting any mandatory rights or obligations under applicable data protection law.
13. Privacy and Security
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Kiito hosts customer data in the European Union and uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect data, including encrypted storage of credentials and sensitive connection secrets, access controls, limited staff access, logging, monitoring, and secure infrastructure practices, as described in the Privacy Policy.
However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your own devices, accounts, networks, systems, stores, advertising accounts, analytics tools, and connected platforms.
14. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payment
Kiito is provided as a paid subscription service, unless otherwise agreed or offered.
Subscription fees, billing periods, included features, usage limits, and payment terms are shown during signup, in your account, in an order form, or in another written agreement between you and Kiito.
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we may use from time to time. Payment processing is handled by the payment processor under its own terms and security standards. Kiito does not store credit card information on its own servers.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date billing and payment information. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fees, taxes, VAT, and other charges when due.
Unless otherwise stated:

- subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period;
- fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law;
- taxes, VAT, and similar charges may be added where applicable;
- you are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
If payment fails or an invoice remains unpaid, we may suspend or terminate access to the service.
15. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
Kiito may offer free trials, discounts, promotional pricing, or other special offers.
Unless otherwise stated during signup, new customers may receive a 7-day free trial before the first subscription payment is charged.
During the free trial, you may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged for the subscription.
If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription, and the applicable subscription fee will be charged using the payment method provided during signup.
Free trials and promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions, including time limits, feature limits, usage limits, eligibility requirements, or automatic conversion to a paid subscription.
We may modify, withdraw, or refuse promotional offers at our discretion, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
16. Plan Changes and Price Changes
We may offer different subscription plans with different features, limits, and pricing.
You may be able to upgrade, downgrade, or modify your subscription depending on the options available at the time.
We may change our pricing, plans, or included features from time to time. If a price change affects an active subscription, we will provide notice where required by law or where reasonably appropriate.
Continued use of the service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
17. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation can be made through the account settings available in the service, or by contacting us at support@kiito.io.
Cancellation prevents future renewal and future subscription charges, but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
After cancellation, you continue to have access to the paid service until the end of the current paid billing period, unless your account is suspended or terminated earlier under these Terms.
You remain responsible for all fees incurred before cancellation.

We may also terminate an account at our discretion, even without stating a specific reason.
If we terminate a paid subscription before the end of the paid subscription period and you have not breached these Terms, we will refund the prepaid fees for the unused part of the subscription period.
If termination is due to your breach, misuse, unpaid fees, unlawful activity, security risk, or violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund unless required by mandatory law.
19. Effects of Termination
After termination or expiry of your account:
- your right to access and use Kiito ends;
