Google, Meta and other ad platforms already show conversions, revenue and ROAS. Why should you pay for Kiito?
Multiple platforms fight for the same conversions
Each ad platform applies its own attribution rules and window. A customer discovers a product through Meta, returns through Google and then orders. Meta credits the sale because it introduced the customer. Google credits the same sale because it brought the customer back. The store receives one order, while each platform thinks it drove the sale because it cannot see the role of the other platform. That is one of the reasons why you see extra conversions.
Privacy restrictions and fragmented browsing journeys on the other hand cause platforms to miss conversions. A common example is a customer who clicks an ad and visits the store in an in-app browser, but later completes the purchase in their normal browser. The cookie from the in-app browser is not available in the normal browser. Without another signal connecting the two visits, the conversion goes unreported.
Separate platform reports cannot produce one reconciled store-level view.
Kiito starts with the actual order
Kiito starts with the actual store order. It connects recorded traffic and advertising sources to that order, then distributes the revenue across the relevant touchpoints. Several full-value platform claims remain one sale in Kiito’s consolidated view.
For WooCommerce, Kiito’s free Multi-Touch Attribution plugin records source data across visits, including UTM parameters, referrers and ad click IDs. First-party tracking and multiple matching methods connect those visits.
For Shopify stores, Kiito tracks multi-touch attribution automatically, without requiring a plugin.
Earlier recorded visits remain part of the journey instead of disappearing behind the final source. Merchants see which channel introduced the customer, which brought them back and which appeared before purchase.
Don’t mistake ROAS for profit
ROAS divides attributed conversion revenue by advertising spend. It does not measure profit because it ignores every order-related cost except ad spend.
Suppose an ad produces a €100 order from €30 in ad spend. The platform reports a 3.33× ROAS. Subtract €50 in product costs, €10 for shipping and fulfilment, and €3 in payment fees. Only €7 remains per order to cover monthly business expenses and occasional refunds.
Kiito combines order revenue with ad spend, product costs, refunds, shipping, fulfilment, payment fees, fixed monthly costs and custom costs. It reports profit and margin by product, ad platform, campaign, ad, keyword, shipping method and payment method.
Platform ROAS presents the order as a strong result. The merchant’s profit calculation exposes a thin contribution. A lower-revenue product with better margins, fewer refunds and more repeat purchases deserves more spend.
Why should you pay for Kiito?
Ad platforms report activity inside their own systems, including impressions, clicks, ad spend and CPM. Orders and revenue happen in the store, so each ad platform attributes them using the data it observes, its own rules and its own modeling.
Kiito connects all the data together. It has access to the same ad data as the ad platforms themselves, but in addition to that it collects the visitor, store and business data. By combining all the available data, it has the possibility to produce more accurate and useful insights and offers you the views to inspect the ecommerce business as a whole.
In addition to ad performance analytics, Kiito answers questions like: which products generate the most profit, where margins are being lost, how refunds affect profitability, which shipping and payment methods cost the most, how customers move from first visit to purchase, and whether overall sales and marketing are generating enough revenue to cover fixed operating costs.
Instead of checking several ad platforms and your sales analytics separately, and trying to reconcile numbers that do not agree, Kiito answers the question that ultimately matters: where is the business actually making, or losing, money and what should you optimize next?
Try Kiito with your own data for seven days free. Continue only if the decisions it reveals are worth more than the subscription.
